Trialbyfire Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 OP, have you ever read anything about how torture works in times of war? In many situations, the prisoner will attempt to bond with the person in the powerseat. It's true what carhill is saying. When in trauma, your survival instincts kick in. If you try hard enough, maybe he will treat you right. You need to realize that he will never treat you right and sooner or later, he'll hurt you to the point of no return. Stay far, far away from this cycle of abuse. Stay strong.
porter218 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Many men over use the term psycho girlfriend to make themselves feel better. "Man she turned into a total pyscho when she found me in bed with her best friend, I couldn't believe it!". I don't know ANY of my girflriends that have thrown or hit a boyfriend. Do you actaully want to offer advice or just more of your "women are evil" comments? Jersey, I actually wasn't joking when I said that I hit my H. It happens, but I am not exactly excusing women beaters though. However anyone who knows my story can't blame me for beating the cr@p out of him. These are not usually things that women who are abused do...they usually are too scared of their SO reaction. At most they throw something or may slap back but only in reaction to what their man is doing to them. But in short Jersey, 'man beaters' do exist.
