But only slightly.

What do you do when you get a text that says "This is just way too hard"

Nothing saying that its over, but a sign saying it might be.

Help..

Don't read into it and open the door to talk about it. It could have been a simple statement.

Everything's always worse at that time of night/morning. It's also the time that drunk texts and calls arrive. Give him a call in the light of day, to clarify. Try not to do this via text or IM.

I'd simply ask what he meant... and communicate as much as possible. Try not to worry. Good luck.

Thank you so much.

I'm terrified to touch on the subject after last night. But I did tell him that there are going to be the really tough days just as often as the okay days.

The verdict: we're alright for now.

Thanks.

Nothing good happens after 2am, usually, but drunk texts alwasy come after 2am, so don't read into it too much unless it happens again, then worry, cause drunk minds speak sober hearts...

4am is that time of the morning when things ALWAYS seem suckier than they are - think of the song "it's four in the morning and once more the dawning has brought out the wanting in me (blah blah blah)"

It's also that time of the morning where you're drunk but haven't actually passed out yet :)

Sounds more like he's just hating not being closer to you (physically)

Definitely what I'm thinking it is.

I think he's realizing its a lot harder to go from being attached at the hip to not seeing eachother for weeks.

We both thought it would be easier.
