I wrote to you guys a while back and all of you were so helpful.

For almost twenty years of marriage, I struggled terribly trying to tackle my weight problem. Sometimes I took it seriously, sometimes I didn't. This year everything hit the fan and I almost lost everything. Spouses should keep themselves looking good for each other.

Anyhoo - i thought my marriage was over - i didn't realize how not taking care of myself was hurting my husband alll these years.

I'm being honest in the hopes that someone else in my shoes might be helped. I was always heavy but over the years have gained more than 100lbs.- ludicrous I know.

This March 24th of 2008 - i was 323 lbs and still expecting everything to be great in the bedroom. My husband although he said he loved me - would not look at me, touch me and became increasingly distant. Finally, I got the message as to what I was doing to myself first, and then my marriage and children.

These months have been herendous, I have cried much during the process and felt so lost, but i did am still doing weight watchers and i am in the gym every morning for two hours and I am now 258 - i should be at my goal around 135 or 140 soon.

My relationship with hubby is off the charts- everything including the bedroom is beyond what i thought it could be - i love who I am becoming and feel more comfortable about myself and better self esteem. I run up steps, do push ups, dance, etc.

I say to you if this has happened to you and you really love each other , honor yourself and be healthy. woulda couldas shouldas dont work

all the best to you all- thanks for being there for me when I needed it.

My ex was very overweight during our marriage. Since we broke up she has lost over 70 pounds. I always loved her no matter what, but she looks so good now. Even though we are split up, I am still very proud of her for taking her health seriously.
