megapositive Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 If someone asks you out and you can't go right away because you're super busy, and tell him so, and he responds back with "Cool, well I know you are swamped right now -- we have all the time in the world..." what would you think? Is he saving face in case he thinks you're blowing him off, or is he being intriguing/mysterious? What do you think?

jadedone Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Are you avoiding him? If so just tell him you are not interested or you have met someone else. Don't say you are busy right now, that just sounds like you want to go out but just don't have time, so you are leading him on. If you are interested in him, then what's the issue? He sounds like he is just being patient.
