If two people have stopped dating and the girl has started dating a new guy does the girl call the ex after being with her new boyfriend for two months just to say hi and find out how he is doing or is there more to it than that? All she had to say about her new relationship when ask how it was going was (ok).

You really need to disregard her approaches unless she makes it very clear that she wants you - at which point it'll be up to you to decide what you want.

 

But unless that happens, keep your guard way up or else you will be eaten alive. You really have to be strong here.

She might be missing you after comparing her to this new guy, and she might not be aware or conscious of what her call could do to you emotionally. Regardless, what the others have said is true, whether she's trying to alleviate some guilt, feeding her ego, regreting her decision, or just plain old missing you, bottom line is if you can't handle talking to her because it'll bring back to much emotion, don't talk to her. If she really wants to get back with you, she'll call again and again and prove it to you.
