Flowerpower7 Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 I met this guy that I like, we have known each other for a few months now. He is the same age as I am (30's) and a quiet, shy guy. I dont think that he knows that I like him. I've been waiting for him to make a move or for the right time for me to do it. We take a class together and he is chatty to people he knows, but when he is near me he is quiet and nervous (his hands and voice). I'm not sure if he like me or perhaps he is uncomfortable around me. We email back and forth during the day then sometimes he stops and I dont hear from him for a couple of days. What do you think?
Final Girl Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Could you suggest going for a coffee, to look over coursework or an assignment or something?? Maybe with a few others in your group??
Author Flowerpower7 Posted September 9, 2008 Author Posted September 9, 2008 sorry its not that type of class....its a dance class. Do you think him being nervous around me is a sign of liking someone, when that person is shy?
Final Girl Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Oops.... LOL!!! I think if someone is shy, and they get tongue tied around one person in particular it can definitely be a sign that they like her...if you were just anyone to him he wouldn't have any reason to behave differently and he would have no problems controllling himself, whereas it seems that he loses a little bit of self control around you!! You could maybe think of another reason to invite him and your mates for a coffee or some kind of get together?? :) Do you share any interests outside dance? One thing my ex bf did when he found out I liked music was to invite me and a few friends to a Cuban film about a rock band in a small indie theatre. It felt just like a nice night out about something we were interested in. It was really relaxed!!
