Kamille Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Hi D! you know I love you but I've got a counter-point to the game playing theory.... It took you one year to give the guy a chance... And then, after you finally do, he firmly places the ball in your court because he wants you to show you're interested before he proceeds any further. In other words, maybe he thinks the player here is you. Why not set up a dinner date or a dog-date and see what happens after?
Author D-Lish Posted September 14, 2008 Author Posted September 14, 2008 Hi D! you know I love you but I've got a counter-point to the game playing theory.... It took you one year to give the guy a chance... And then, after you finally do, he firmly places the ball in your court because he wants you to show you're interested before he proceeds any further. In other words, maybe he thinks the player here is you. Why not set up a dinner date or a dog-date and see what happens after? I guess I don't want to be the aggressor. I def don't want to be rejected. But he mentioned the dog-date and i said... "cool- lemme know when"... and he said "I will". that's all he said- "I will..." So- in my head, I gave him the green light both for dinner and the dog date...and he is not setting anything up. My guess? He is multiple dating...a bit of a player...and just "not that into me". And I don't want to be the aggressor because of that.
Capricciosa Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Yeah, but do you want to just wonder?
mortensorchid Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 If he's interested, just an FYI, he will CALL not send text messages or emails. Technology has allowed us to do and say things we otherwise can't do or say, but I think it's a genuine show of affection when someone calls nowdays.

I mean, come on- you're 40---- you can call me if you want to! I don't like dating- this guys was exciting to me at first... but he lost me when I started to see the games. Doesn't matter, I am totally turned off now!

Trialbyfire Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 D. if you're comfortable chasing him do it by asking him out. If it's not your thing, chasing him will only drive you nuts. He does sound needy. Stroke me, stroke me...
