He has phoned me this lunch time and asked if i'll stay for my tea? and asked me if i had to rush off?? he then went on to say he had packed all my stuff for me so it wouldnt be too awkward for me? confused yet again!!!!

Hi Ticklemonster Hope it goes well tonight. Let me know. I've just got pissed off with the ex and told him I'm bringing stuff that belongs to him round tomorrow. He's been on the 'Are you interested' application on face book and met someone, so I am so totally over it. C x

Tonight went really well, I stayed strong and didn't break down, i just said i would miss him, but i wouldn't wait. Infact he actually opened up to me and broke down in tears more than once! He is so down its untrue, he has alot of money worries (which i knew about) but thought he had everything under control. He feels like a failure of a dad which he isnt at all, he has shared custody of his lil man but coz he has not much money he cant afford to take him many places. I told him that it didnt matter where he took him, as long as he showed him his love. He says he still loves me and wants me but he needs time to sort out his problems. He understands im not going to wait around for him. So all in all im feeling really good about things, its time to move on now and i'm even more determined to do so!

Maybe it is a bit quick, but we are meeting up tomorrow to exchange 'stuff'. Who knows whats going to happen. He did say today that he's noticed a big change in me, and that he still has feelings for me and he cares about me and then went on to say that he's happy we are staying 'friends'. Oh well, NEXT! I'm really glad everything went well, but be wary of the line about him needing time, that usually means there just keeping you hanging on until they get what they think is a better offer (bitter and twisted, me, I think so)

I know what you mean, but i honestly believe he just needs time to sort his head out, but unfortunately for him i'm not willing to wait around as much as i love him. Coz if he decides he wants me back whats saying he's not going to have all these feelings again? It would take alot to try and win me back now!
Author ticklemonster Posted September 8, 2008 Author Posted September 8, 2008 The latest is, that he thinks he's made a mistake but is not 100 % sure yet! Told me he was out doing a charity walk yesterday and did nothing but talk about me, so this girl turned round and said, so why did you finish things and he said i really don't know, i've messed up big time!! Men i swear are complicated lil things. Met up with him for a drink, had a lil chat but did't mention us getting back together, he kept saying he misses me, so i just kept saying i know! lol i don't want to let my self in for another fall not til i'm sure. We did share a lil kiss before we left, and he wispered in my ear, i love you! I was shocked so didn't say anything back other than, speak soon, got in my car and left! If i wasnt confused before i am now!!!!
