My friend/roommate is having a rough time right now with his new girlfriend (I just broke up with mine. What the hell is wrong with this week?). Basically, we are all college students here. My roommate's girlfriend (Monica) and my roommate (Kyle) have been long-distancing it for the summer. She finally gets back, and they seem to be affectionate. We all spend time together in a mutual friend's room (Alex), and things are going well. Alex's roommate, a frat guy who isn't a friend of any of ours (including Alex) comes in, and basically says he just broke up with his girlfriend and has been drinking/smoking all day. He asks Monica if she wants to drink with him (she's been drinking a bit herself and is clearly hammered -- she didn't even know she was in Alex's room). She accepts and basically walks out with him. Kyle is pissed the hell off right now because basically his girlfriend, who claimed to hate drama, decided to go drink with a guy who was clearly drunk off his ass. His girlfriend's finally back and he feels insulted that his girlfriend pretty much ditched everyone to go spend time with a "douchebag" and get hammered. I have my own opinions, but I'm curious to see what you all think.
