How, pray tell, will Palin find the time and energy to function effectively as Vice-President? This pro-family stawart will have to outsource family care. The irony is sweet. First off you are making the whole deal bigger than it needs to be.. She does have 5 children.. one of those children ( Track ) is no longer living at home .. he is 19 and is enlisted in the armed services where he will be doing a tour in the Middle East. Bristol is 17 and pregnant while you make a joke out of her baby being born out of wedlock will be married to the father of the baby and presumably not living at home. So.. We are now down to 3 children living at home.. Obama has 2 children.. the difference between Obama and Palin is the special needs child.. Are you trying to tell me that Sarah Palin should not be a VP candidate because she has a special needs child ?

There are plenty of places online to rant about all the hot-button issues intrinsic in her candidacy. However, my biggest question is why, with two children named "Trig" and "Track," she didn't just name the other ones "Chemistry," "English," and "Lunch?" Talk about your home-schooling...

Now in regards to the original post: It was pure brilliant to add a female to the ticket and I do believe that idiot Obama, placed a nail in his coffin by not adding Hillary. Of course, I am a die hard republican and would not think of EVER putting a democrat into office!! The democrats do not stand for anything I am for! Also, I would like to add that I have no problem with a woman or an Afro American in office, as long as they are Republican!! Too bad Obama, you screwed yourself by not choosing Hillary out of spite!

I don't think that was the OP's original intent, and I for one feel very strongly that this is not the place for it. Case in point: the poster above me, who says this is not the place to discuss politics, then writes two paragraphs about personal political viewpoints. If one is inclined to discuss Palin's candidacy, I respectfully submit that there are all manner of more appropriate online forums in which to do so.
