mas21 Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 alright, why would my exs, best friend, tell me during a discussion that i should be up front with him(my ex) and tell him i want to just be friends in order to talk to him, because he says "dont confuse the man!" or "be upfront so theirs no confusion on his part". i am not sure why this would affect whether he will talk to me or not. He has a gf he lives with, and his friend says he doesnt want to see it get ruined and all that stuff about being upfront and say i wanna be friends. If i wanted to be friends or more why would me saying or not saying it confuse the guy? Maybe im just naive or stupid. Im not one to interfere nor will i, but i just dont get why his best friend is telling me this. What confusion is there? He lives with a girl so how would me saying i want to just be friends affect him from being confused when hes happy with another girl. Am i looking at this the wrong way?
nowhereman82 Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 I don't get what his friend is up to, but best not to stick your nose in it ;D
wizzlebee Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Maybe............ Your ex told his friend that you trying to get back with him, and causing trouble with his new live in gf, so he took it apon himself to tell you to leave your ex alone.. IDK Best to ignore it, and go on with your life!
BCCA Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Why do you even want to bother with the guy? Who cares if he feels 'confused' you dont owe him an explination or a freindship. I would be willing to bet that you aren't 100% into 'just being friends' so dont even waste your time here. Sounds to me like his friend was the spy who tested how interested you were in just being friends. Next time, just nod and walk away. Dont feed him any more information. He's with some one else, life goes on. He wasnt the right one. Dont waste another second on this guy.
