rod_in_gtown Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 So I used to work with this woman and we used to get a long very well, she was a little ditzy but I found it to be endearing. Soon after she stopped working with us, she went out with me and a group of guys from work, then we ended up going out a couple of times by ourselves. there was some chemistry but we never did anything. The last time we went out, it was her, me and another co-worker, we went to see the dark knight. she showed up late, and kept leaving the theatre without saying anything (it is a long movie so I though it was normal for a girl to go to the bathroom twice). The last time she got up and never came back. I got a text at the end of the movie saying "hey, I was tired and went home" and I texted her back, "wow, that was sudden" I thought to myself "wow, rude but ok, I guess she's not interested" a couple of weeks later on her birthday, I sent her a text saying "happy birthday! Hope you're having a good one!". The next day she calls me while I'm at work and I answer saying "hey! happy belated! how are you? did you have a good time?" to which she replied "who is this?" I immediately played it cool "ooooh! I see how it is, you go out with us and then erase my number!" then she apologizes profusely saying "oh! I don't know what happened!? I have your number in my phone! I'm so sorry!" we had some mindless chit-chat for the next 5 minutes and then we hung up saying "we should hang out soon". At this point I was "Yeah, she's DEFINITELY not into me, she even erased my phone number" and I just let it go. So Friday night at around 5 pm I get a facebook message saying "Hey, let me know if you're up to anything this weekend i am around.. ". At this point, I'm thinking to my self "WTF?" I totally don't get this girl. So I called her on Saturday at around noon and left her a message saying, "I don't have any concrete plans but I might go out tonight, give me a call when you get this". Now it's sunday, and still haven't heard back from her... My veredict is: "Total nut job" am I missing something? is she bi-polar? I don't think this is normal. Do you?

KinAZ Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 If she was "normal" after that I would say, maybe she just got the runs or something? Checking in with her BF? Drug problem? I dunno. The who is this and the no contact after she said she would be around would just lead me to believe she's not very interested. She might have said she would be around because she didn't have plans... and then found some. Who knows...
Shygirl15 Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Yeah, very awkward behaviour. She's full of drama (or mood swings?), IMO. I wouldn't bother with her.
