Men over 30 need to settle!

Yes, as men and women age they both perform poorer sexually. So?

Men naturally perform poorer, and women naturally become less desirable and dried up.

Losing interest is completely different than the ability to get it up and PERFORM.

All we need is a lil' lube. ;)

Exactly not only that, some men start to have performance problems as early as 30. While women are at their sexual peak well into their 40's. I know we are in our dirty thirties but any of my female friends in their 40's swear it gets even better in their 40's I CAN'T wait!

LOL..

So if you are in your 40's, and men as young as 30, cannot keep up, what are you options? Oh, have hundreds of one night stands with 20 year olds that have no standards.. I bet you will feel really special..

40's women may want it more than their counterparts in their 20's, but as far as I am concerned, they're not getting anywhere near my swizzle stick.

Let them have 20 somethings for one night stands....more power to them.

By the way, I just don't see many 20's guys with 40's gals, do you?

I guess this only happens in LoveShackistan(where all women look younger and better than in their 20's).

She wrote this when the Stanford study pointed out older men that are not rich also marry younger women. In her next post she referred to them as "cream of the crop", instead of just "younger" which is what the study pointed out. The Stanford study simply said younger, but jersey took that to mean '"cream of the crop"

Keep holding onto that and ignoring my direct questions to you. :) I took the study in exactly the context *you* meant it to be. The reason you hold on to this issue is because I think on some level you want to make women feel like less. All of us get older and change. But as a human being, we all still want affection and love and we don't want the opposite sex to think of us as less. I took exactly what you were saying in the context you meant to prove my point to you, not in the context I personally believe is the real truth. If you want to keep dodging and attempting to redirect your misinformation, please go ahead. It doesn't bother me.

Women want to be loved and valued just as I am sure one day you hope to be loved and valued by a woman. Putting women down and making them seem and trying to make them feel like less then you isn't cool. It's not what a real man does. It isn't attractive to women, young or old. And it doesn't set the foundation for building a relationship with a man that you feel you can trust and be vunerable with. Why start any relationship with a man if he just thinks you are a "depreciating value"? Why? that's a sincere question that I am sure you will once again avoid.

If you want to keep putting up road blocks that make women feel like they have to be protective against men, instead of being able to be vulnerable with men, and you get a certain glee out of it, that's obviously your business. But I don't need any more road blocks when it comes to male female relationships. I don't want to degrade men and I don't want men to degrade me. And I know no matter my age, I will always want male attention and affection.

Jersey, aren't you on another thread stating you have a thing for Jon Stewart

? He is 46 years old.

That is natural. You naturally like older men, and find them attractive. Men naturally like younger women. What is the big deal? Men and women are different in that way, and it helps them fit together nicely.

Thi is ridiculous, and you have no idea what you're talking about. I (and my 30+ year old friends) attract far more - and better - women since we hit thirty, than we could even dream of in our early twenties. Like, in women trying to pick us up, rather the other way around, so eat it.

As for women, sure, they can ger sex at any age, but getting married after 30 is definitely harder (unlike the OP, i do not cheer at this fact, just acknowledge it).

On a side note, any man that would date a woman younger than 25 is insane and needs to be hospitalized.

I also like Micheal Phelps and would let him do me in a heartbeat. I even stated that I have dated older men but that the relationships weren't any better then with men my own age. I have no issue with older/younger dynamcis. But no woman remains young forever and you want to to tell women how much less they are for it. I am younger then you and I find your attitude completely unattractive. I would never want to be with a man that thought so little of women.

This entire topic is pure comedy.

haha yeah...I especially like the part where these same feminist shrews that were complaining about that lady who gives her man bjs every night b/c she was trying to apply her methods to all women seem to be quick to dish out their opinions about how every man should be

Coincidentally, both members joined in April...

Anyways, yes, this topic is deliberate irony. With the amount of misogynistic nagging and nagging and nagging of women going on within this site for months now, it's turn-around comedy time and trust me, flapping comb-overs are pretty darn funny!

"Settling" is a bad term for anything in dating and relationships. One should NEVER settle...even if they are fat, ugly, smelly, etc.

WHY? Because you basically took someone you don't have feelings for...all in the name of "having someone". Sounds more like a recipe for divorce or misery.

I stand by what I always said - have REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS.

That means when you're a man in your 30s you're not going to easily find some fashion model with a college degree, career, no kids, single, and her life 100% in order. That means when you're a woman in your 30s you're not going to find a guy who is as hot as David Beckham AND he's got education, career, money, and wants to commit.

So she's got shorter hair, smaller breasts, maybe not a flawless face, but a pretty one. So he's balding a little, isn't over 6" tall, or isn't a chiseled athlete. So maybe either one of them have a tiny bit of flab, but aren't big and obese. Are those the reasons you'll keep yourself single?

I recently met a girl whom I was first reluctant on, but now I wouldn't want anyone else in my life. She's beautiful, educated, European, classy, kind, sweet, and is even going to school to be a Dentist. She cut her hair short. Who cares? I like long hair, but it's not a reason to pass up a good person. She doesn't own a car and is recently divorced. Who cares? I don't mind driving and I don't seem to see issues or anything.

It's sad for women who want kids that they are bound to the biological clock and thus become in a hurry to find a husband to have that family they want. However, this is why I tell women to death to not get "marriage minded" at age 27, but more at ages 18-23. Don't treat college as "hookup and fun time", but more "seeking your future husband" time. Yes a lot of guys will not want commitment, but there are a lot who will. Maybe that means you have to pass up the frat boy with the alpha male syndrome in favor of the cute but studious science major that doesn't drink.

Would you rather be hitting 30 and playing the "there are no decent men out there" broken record? Not saying you women should date the boring doormat, but many women need to quit thinking Mr. Excitement will be thinking girlfriend, wife, and then family the way she is.

Guys have to be the same. So you're out at the bars or clubs and see the club rats in miniskirts, heels, too much makeup, and ironed hair whoring it up for free drinks and attention. Rather than waste your time thinking these women will commit and marry you down the road...think more about the cute girl in the cafe who is more immersed in her book than trying to look "smokin hot".

And for all the guys who think that when you're 30 the money, condo, and career is an instant ticket for you to date 21-23 year old pieces of eye candy...bear in mind how much DRAMA comes with those women. I find it funny now how all the "ladies men" and playas in my social circles now complain to death how every girl they meet is a flaky whore. They play the "where are all the hot and smart women?" broken record.

If you want marriage, family, etc...then it's about THINKING REALISTICALLY, not settling. If you like singledom, then be as insanely picky as you want.

Did you miss the part where this thread was a spoof of all the "Women over 30 should lower their expectations"

So how is that chat room you guys opened over there and for which new members have to ask access?

It all makes sense to me. It's like Melody's thinking outside the box thread. The terms may differ, but we're all pretty much saying the same thing.

I have no problem thinking outside the box and do give men chances.

D-Jam, good post. I'm not looking for Mr. Perfect. I have been really attracted to alot of guys with physical flaws.
