Do girls get turned off by a guy having a gut?

If I meet someone and they have a gut and I'm very attracted to them and they have a great personality, then I have to love their gut too.. haha

But I don't get bothered by a man who has a gut. My ex by had a gut and I thought it was sexy. Call me selfish but he was trying to lose weight, and I didn't want him to

I'll be honest: it's a major turn off for me. I like my guys skinny and fit!

Do women find men with fit physics more attractive than skinny with a beer gut? Usually.

Women LOVE the fit physicists. Brains and Bod!

To the OP, if you have a "beer gut" at that weight something is messed up internally,

I personally would not have an interest in a chick who had anorexic arms/legs but a fat stomach, unless she acknowledged the issue and was dedicated to changing it.

People here are really not being realistic about body types.

I work out 5 times a week. I do cardio for 50 minutes 3 times a week, take classes 2-3 times a week and the other two days walk on the treadmill to do something active but take a break from my hardcore cardio. And I naturally have a little tummy pudge. And I weight about 90 pounds. That's just my trouble area. Some women have trouble with their butt, hips, boobs, arms..... mine is my tummy. I am in no way not healthy or not active. And my arms and legs, like the Op, are slender

Some people do have tougher areas, and the stomach area is a big one. Do you really think people back in the day had flat abs like we have flat abs today? Heck no. You people have seen old paintings right? Those women were considered healthy and had guts.

So OP, I think the people that are making misguided judgments about your health and telling you to exercise are completely 100% incorrect. Especially since you said you exercise. It sounds like that is just how your body is made. And no, I wouldn't find it a turn off. And the people that do find it a turn off? Well, I doubt their partners are some perfect Greek Adonis/Aphrodite. They might have a partner with a huge nose, jacked up teeth, bushy eyebrows, fat legs..etc etc. It's just about preference and not all women are turned off by a guy with a gut. Especially a guy that is active.

And I have a hard time believing that most people on loveshack have perfect abs.

And and if you really look into it. Medically speaking, people that are thin are not automatically healthy. And people that look chubby, are not automatically unhealthy. Studies have proved that a person can be chubby and very healthy and active and a person can be thin and unhealthy and unactive. Lets be realistic about our bodies here folks and not go on what we think we should look like due to the media.

I don't think any healthy person under 40 should have a GUT. I'm not talking about a little pooch or being a little thick I'm talking gut, there's just no reason for it.

Then I would suggest that you read up on the topic. Because it's been medically proven that not everyone thin is healthy and everyone chubby is unhealthy. People have different body types. Some people carry weight in different places. Some people are infact over weight and unhealthy. Some might appear overweight but might be very healthy.

A person can infact be chubby and be healthy. And a person can be thin and be unhealthy. And if you honestly believe anyone under 40 who doesn't have a gut proves their health, you would be greatly mistaken to make that assumption.

Maybe we should have a gut contest. Every guy take a snapshot and post it up on their profile, then let the judges have at it.

I am dating a guy who is considered over weight. We've been together for almost 2 years in Dec. I dont mind his gut. I love him for him and hes the best guy in the world and thats all that matters to me... Now, I wouldnt mind if he losed a little but over all I dont look down upon it or get grossed out.
