Trimmer Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 It is a funny echo so you got it even better! Truthfully speaking, I WAS thinking about that thread when posting, as well as the thread title of...Don't mess with KMT. One must mess with those who can't be messed with! Good point - saying "don't mess with...." is really kinda asking for it, isn't it? Reminds me of the classic line from Stripes: "Lighten up, Francis..."
Trialbyfire Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 It was suposed to be a spoof on Adam Sandlers new movie "Don't Mess with the Zohan" because he suposedly kicks ass in that movie... havnt seen it yet looks funny Haven't been paying attention to movies lately but when Adam Sandler's in the groove, he's a very funny man. Throw up a thread if you end up seeing it! Good point - saying "don't mess with...." is really kinda asking for it, isn't it? Reminds me of the classic line from Stripes: "Lighten up, Francis..." Haha...Stripes. SNL guys like Bill Murray are hilarious!
Author Green Posted August 29, 2008 Author Posted August 29, 2008 Well she seems to go on myspace daily, atleast had been on yesterday when I first checked her account out... and had already been on today when just now I took the time to write a msg and add her as a friend. I mention the fact that it seems she goes on regularly because its a good sign. Has a quote from "The Outsider" on her main page. Well now I have to wait and see if she adds me and how she replies
sfsassy Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 I always give guys my email. However in my case, it is because I communicate much better in writing than on the phone. (slurred speech and all.) However, she may be doing it because so she can take her time to respond to you. If you had called or texted her, she may feel like she must respond to you right away. I would just go with the flow for now.
Trimmer Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Maybe this is the modern equivalent of a woman deciding in the first 30 seconds whether she's romantically interested in you, or whether she pulls the lever and you drop through the trap door into the "friend zone." Except, this being the era of the Intarnets, you are relegated to the "myspace-zone" with her other 672 "friends." In other words, if she was sufficiently attracted to you, you would have got her digits, but otherwise, you get the consolation prize: "Sure, you can be my myspace friend!"
Author Green Posted August 29, 2008 Author Posted August 29, 2008 It can be pretty personal thing to let some one see your myspace page. I doubt I'm in any friend zone... Im just a guy who got a email instead of a number and the friends Ive mentioned this to said sounds good
nopainnogain Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 You shoulda asked for her email first........
Author Green Posted August 29, 2008 Author Posted August 29, 2008 You shoulda asked for her email first........ hahah That would have felt better with hind sight being 20/20... but I don't believe in asking for email first... I get that later or never.
nopainnogain Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 but I don't believe in asking for email first.... youd be surprised. I ve gotten a lot farther in asking for email first in leau of a number.

Author Green Posted August 30, 2008 Author Posted August 30, 2008 with the things I said and did before I got her contact info she'd be pretty sick to think of me as say a brother or some other non sexual entity we wern't exactly talking about the weather over coffee when I got it
xpaperxcutx Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 You mean a guy really asked you for your number... do you even go out to clubs? KMT I'm offended. Of course I go out an get asked for my number.
IfWishesWereHorses Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Except, this being the era of the Intarnets, you are relegated to the "myspace-zone" with her other 672 "friends." That is hysterical Trimmer!
Trialbyfire Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Trimmer, you misspelled a word. It's Intardnet!
Pyro Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 KMT I'm offended. Of course I go out an get asked for my number. Don't take his words seriously. None of us do. We all know that you are more than capable of getting many numbers.
