Bells Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Okay, is the difference betwen blown off and being lead on ..is If you're blown off, the person usually doesn't offer you any alternative. Like you ask them out, they make up an excuse about why they can't make it. No plans are actually made. Being lead on is probably being being blown off...and THEN Being encouraged to continue to pursue them. Lately, I made probably scheduled 2 days of getting together with a woman, and something would come up...wether it's legit or not, I don't know. She DID agree to go out with me, last Sunday, but apparently she was swamped with take-home work during that day, and was too exhausted to go out....then she asked me to go see a movie with her (proactively), and we scheduled it for THIS Sunday. So, Iwas coool with that....and I latercontacted her to ask her when I can pick her up....then she tells me that she forgot she made plans with a female friend to go to the beach on Sunday, so how bout we schedule it for Monday, and to call her tomorrow (Friday) to confirm. I feel like saying, "Well, I'm free Sunday, I hadn't been to the beach in a while....so how about it?" lol <shrug> During this time she's always saying, "I can't wait to see you again, and I really look forward to it." At what point should I confront her and ask her "Hey, will you stop playing games with me??"
KinAZ Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 If she's that busy, just tell her to give you a call when she has time, and keep your distance till she does. If she has to reschedule you again, and you know she's not a brain surgeon or single mother of three, then just let her be.

Reminds me of this hot chick who would find a lame excuse half of the time. But when she did show up, oh my god. She was so beautiful and such a good flirt. A total master. I didn't expect anything from her (and got nothing either) but totally enjoyed my time with her. Plus, she had more money than me and paid for a bunch of things!

She wants to know that there's someone out there who is "interested" and "pursuing" her. Girls like 3 things: compliments, attention and an occasional pair of shoes.
