I know this is a bit random, but if you're gonna read this, please reply, it'll only take a few seconds of your time.

 

It's a bit like a census, so we can see where other members are, what they're up to etc.

 

What time is it, where are you (city & country) and what are you doing at the moment (apart from reading this post.

 

Here I go:

 

It's 9.58am, I'm in Brisbane, Australia and I am currently at work folding cheques.

8pm on the east coast... watching the democratic national convention on tv and contemplating what to have for dinner.

It's 8h15... here in Ottawa.. (Gatineau) and I'm watching some programs I taped.. just finished eating a small pizza..

 

I'm off tomorrow.. for a 4 day weekend.. (statutory holiday on Monday)..

From burning 900+ calories riding my mountain bike in the rain. Can't jog because my knee hurts. If I don't burn around 1k calories per day, I lose my mind and start remembering the pain.

 

Sitting here now breathing in Ben Gay fumes. Note ... be careful when you put the stuff on your neck!

 

Off to go refill an ambien prescription...

 

Maybe not so humorous, but real ...

Ahhh I'm jealous, you're closer to the weekend than I am :mad:

 

And how is Auckland at the moment? I visited Auckland once, I loved it! Especially the V Grill and the Minus 5 bar. Spent most of my time in Warkworth and Waiheke Island, was beautiful, I miss it :lmao:

It hasn't rained for a week which makes a change! Spring starts on the 1st so the weather is looking up. The minus 5 bar is the bar made of ice right? I've been there once... my favourite bar is Provedor ("Provide-a-whore"), though I don't go out drinking very much anymore.

 

I've been to Aus twice, once on the east coast all the way from Brissy to Sunshine Coast - did a bungee jump in the city in surfer's paradise. The other time I went to Perth to see an old mate and spent a couple of weeks there... I loved it! Wanted to live there! How's the weather treating you there? :p

 

Oh, and I'm not really closer to the weekend since I have to get up at 6am tomorrow to go painting with my brother in law.. I get $30 an hour tax free though, so I can't complain :D

Today it's overcast and a little warm which SUCKS cuz I'm wearing my nice new boots and it's not quite cool enough for them :-(

 

Ahhhh so THAT'S where our rain has come from - it's been raining on and off for 2 days over here! Pfft Kiwi's - take your rain back lol :p
