Has anyone had their ex come back after the two of you said goodbye to each other?

This is more out of curiosity than hope, really. I would assume that anything is possible, but has anyone ever just given up, told the ex that you cannot be friends anymore, and wished them luck? And then have the ex come back some time later?

I read on here it happens often but not always.

I would say its about a 23-30% chance. The real catch with it is that often times, they come back with the same baggage as before, and youll be so overcome with emotions because they came back that youll take them back without wondering whats different this time. Usually leads to a repeat of whatever happened before.

 

I've often been told and experienced myself that when you finally get over them and actually move on, they are more likely to come back and contact you. By that time, however, youre probably done with them all together.

I've had this happen 2 times before. One was asking "Did I make a mistake?" and the other was like "I didn't know what I had." Either way, you have to deal with old baggage and if you're not ready or willing to deal with it, it's a disaster in the making.

 

If YOU don't want to be with an ex, then don't. Even with all the pain of dealing with a past relationship, sometimes a new person can bring you things positively that you've never experienced before. All relationships have negatives, but you have to know what you will and will not deal with.
