lovestruck818 Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Today while waiting for the train home from work, a young man in a suit approached me and started up a conversation. We chatted the whole ride home, he offered me his coat b/c I was cold and then he gave me a ride home. He wanted my number but since I am in a relationship, I took his- with no intention of calling him, probably. He was younger anyway, but I look young so I often am approached by younger guys who think I am their age. As I am in a relationship, we are having problems and sometimes I contemplate if I want to break up with him or not. Was meeting this guy today a clue that maybe I should dump him and chase this guy? Did this guy and I meet today b/c it was some sign of what's to come? Sorry, maybe I am just reading too much into this.
Enema Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 A clue? A sign? Do you believe in magic? I don't - this was coincidence. If your relationship is bad, break up.
nopainnogain Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Classic grass is greener scenerio. I dont know ,but I know u cant have both. So you need to take a gamble and pick one. Maybe flip a coin j/k Just dont cheat on your boy ,be honest with your self ,and dont beat around the bush. good luck
Green Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Yeah its sign, you obviosly don't feel so great about your current relationship

I thought you wanted your boyfriend to ask you to marry you, even though the relationship was only 6 months old.. Anyway, with that being said, if you love your bf, then work it out. Do couples therapy together, get some kind of help to try to salvage things..But then again, it all depends on the type of problems you're having with him. IF he cheated, let him go... And, with that being said, don't let another guy get in the way right now. Break up first, don't be calling this guy while you're still with your bf.
CommitmentPhobe Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I think you need the confidence to breakup with him. A sign isn't that useful. Is my post a sign?
Author lovestruck818 Posted August 26, 2008 Author Posted August 26, 2008 It's kind of ironic that both current boyfriend and this guy both work(ed) in the building I used to work in- well, current boyf isn't really working yet and this guy is still @ that building but I am no longer as we moved downtown. Kind of a coincidence, though.
CommitmentPhobe Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 IMO this is a really bad way to think. Do you really need the universes guidance when it comes to whether you're happy with your boyfriend or not?
nopainnogain Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I was walking to the liquer store and On the way I saw a empty gatorade bottle on the floor. I saw it as a sign and bought a gatorade to quench my thirst. It was a sign for sure. Otherewise I would of died of dehydration Back to topic- hey lovestruck, buy some lottery tickets while your at it lol:laugh:
Touche Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Well all the jokes aside, I for one think it's very much a sign. The fact that you're interested in possibly pursuing something else with someone else, is your sign. I think if your current relationship was what it's supposed to be (and I don't know the background) then you wouldn't be considering someone else. So yes. It's very much a sign.
Ariadne Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 waiting for the train.. a young man in a suit approached me... he offered me his coat...he gave me a ride home. Ok, you met a total stranger in a train stop and took his coat and a ride? Wow, do people do that? maybe I should dump him and chase this guy? Dayum!!!
