I also know a lot of non-wealthy people who are very caring and a lot that aren't. Check around LS and you will find all kinds of people, in all kinds of distress, in all kinds of financial conditions. Trust me, if you knew my husband and he was your friend, you'd put him in the category of those nice and caring people you mention. He's done many favors to people. He is Prince Charming who disarms everyone with his sweetness. I see how well you now hese people when you're telling me to "check around LS"! You are telling me about complete strangers. When yo hav lived with a wealthy man for a few years, talk about them.

My exposure includes living with some very caring people, for many, many years...much longer than your marriage.
Enema Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Rich people are like any other group... there are equal numbers of jerks and lovely people. You're assuming that because you had one bad experience with a rich guy that they're all like that. Surely you can see the holes in that logic.

I dated a guy for a year whose family was worth about 15 mil. His entire family was totally dysfunctional and he turned out to be verbally abusive and psycho. You want his email address? I'd be happy to give it to you!
