This is from Plenty of Fish, correct?

Which is basically a blue-collared wonderland of OLD.

Take it for what it is. If you are dating a cashier from Walmart, then these items will probably be more appropriate than to an educated, professional woman.

i disagree with a lot on the list - but maybe that is just my unusual perspective...

Some stuff I agree with and some I don't - One for sure I agree with is guys, do not discuss other relationships or dates with us. I went on a 1st date w/ a guy and he told me all about his ex wife, how she gained tons of weight and didnt want to have sex anymore - then I got to hear all about his very bitter expensive divorce. Then, he told me his birthday was the following day, did I want to hang out? This was on a first date, no lie. There was not a second date.

casual restaurant, beach, sporting event and concert/music gathering should be at the top of the list....

I think people should stop reading all this crap and have some personality instead.

Can't say I agree with the lists in general. Some times yes, some things no. Depends on your interests. Personally I like Sci-Fi and politics.

I don't watch Nip /Tuck or Survivor. But I did like Sex in the City, not really something I would talk about with a man though. (And you act like men don't have silly stuff they like to talk about. Men don't sit around discussing Keats all day you know). And we don't want to tell YOU we are prettier then a girl. We want you TO tell US we are prettier then a girl. We also don't want to have to tell you how to treat us. We want you to know..like magic! And while I don't talk about coach handbags I like impressing my dates with my knowledge of art. Take Louis Vutton for example! Girls like his purses too right? Did you know the japanense artist Takashi Murakami designed his signature purse look? Yeah your opinion of what girls like to talk about sounds like a limited stereotype of one type of girl. Try branching out and finding new girls.

Good luck with that approach in the long term.

I was just having some fun.:)

That list a compilation of all the things I've heard various girls talk about at one time or another.

And like you said, I'm sure any girl could come up with the same list about guys (and I'm sure some of the things I talk about would fall in there).

I hear guys at work talking about reality TV shows more than the women. There was a group last year really into The Biggest Loser and even a guy (who is a football coach, lol) who was into The Bachelor.

Posted

How come shoes, make-up and clothes were not on that list?

Posted

They are top ten topics on a date, I don't think a woman would be impressing a guy if those were the topics.

Those are LS screen names, CG :-)

I disagree with your double asterisk though CG, I enjoy when my man makes an effort and contacts me daily, even if it's a quick email or phone call. I love knowing that I'm being thought about.

I'm with you aria, men who are really in to you do make contact everyday.

hey do they have a list of top men's topics of conversation?

2. women
