Mag Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Well I met a new girl recently, Im just curious tho what prompts a hug? I ask cause theres very few times where friends have wanted a hug when leaving or something.

If she's hugged you, she might like you as either a friend or a romantic interest. If you're looking for a hug, say or do something sweet for her. Or...you could hug her and see what her reaction might be, although this might seem too familiar to her, if you've only just met her and aren't on a date.

I went to leave one night after we all got back to her place, and she simply wanted a hug before I left. See the thing is I know shes stuck on another guy, so I doubt it could be of romantic interest.(tho I could be wrong which is very possible) I would like to date her, and tried to make a subtle move which backfired, not bad or anything really, but I know she got the hint. My reason for asking is cause im simply not used to it and am curious as to why. Yeah Im naive but what can I say im a guy.

Author Mag Posted August 23, 2008 Author Posted August 23, 2008 @KMT I dont think i could ever bring myself to do that even wasted @papercut was that a demand? @collector well true, i know that personally im a very touchy feely kinda guy esp when it comes to women, but that only seems to come out when im dating them(which seems to be more rare by the day) And she seems very reserved with the exception with good friends.
