Tryng2Trust08 Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Ok, whoever has read my posts, you can see I was getting a little frustrated with my BF....So, today when I got my mail there was a letter from him.(he lives an hour from me). It was a little saying and it was cute and sweet, from" guess who". It may not seem cute to you guys, but I LOVE this kind of stuff. I prefer cute messages over any fancy dinner or jewelry! I think he is really trying!
LoveLace Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 For a guy, that's a creative and thoughtful thing to do..well for women too, but even more from guys. I think you have every reason to be happy about it.
Author Tryng2Trust08 Posted August 22, 2008 Author Posted August 22, 2008 I think its really creative...he wrote one word on a page, so I had to flip through the pages. It made me smile SOO big, this is exactly what I needed/wanted from him & he did it. A little patience on my part goes a long way! This shows me he is compromising and understanding my needs, this is a huge gesture on his part!
Author Tryng2Trust08 Posted August 22, 2008 Author Posted August 22, 2008 Oh, my.. See, I told you.. I know....I couldnt believe it! And he has been contacting me and we texted maybe like 30 times back and forth last night, we had a nice conversation. Im really happy, Im glad Im giving him a chance and hes being soo patient and understanding! Did you tell your man yet about it not working out:(?

I wanted to update my thread but thought against it. So yes, I broke it down to him.. it wasn't pretty.
Shygirl15 Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 You need to find something to do for him in return..

Shygirl15 Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Something like that.. What does he like in the romance department?
Author Tryng2Trust08 Posted August 22, 2008 Author Posted August 22, 2008 Something like that.. What does he like in the romance department? Ummm..hes not real romantic..I was thinking about mailing a little saying to him that he would know it was from me and maybe sticking something in there he likes...hmm...or should I go a different route?
Shygirl15 Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 You know, I think I was in love with him already so it was very hard. But anyways, he kept saying how much he's willing to work at it, again introducing me to the wife, which I firmly told him NO as I don't want to get in the middle of it. I know she must be hurting already, no need to cause her more pain. He got all teary and everything; we hardly ate the meal. Then we said our goodbyes, he said this experience has motivated him to process his papers even faster. Was like, "yeah once everything is over I will contact you to see if you're still available". Whateva. I'm kinda depressed though.

Aww, Im sorry you're feeling depressed, must feel pretty down...but I really think you saved yourself drama and it shows the respect you have for his wife....just a bad situation to be in. Well, it may not be a bad idea for him to contact you when his divorce is final....
