RogueAC Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 How do I stop myself from thinking that after a few weeks NC he will realize that he doesn’t want to be without me? We dated for almost 2 years and he did not let me in or fall in love with me. Why am I convinced that a few weeks will change his mind?
wareagle Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 She's been gone 5 months, I still sometimes think maybe she will realize that I was the best thing to ever walk into her life and she will rethink her decision to leave me! You can't make someone be with you! It's their decision and nothing you can do or say will change that! As long as you have said your peace and he knows where you stand all you can do is go NC and make him miss you! Make him see that you can live your life happy without him.

In fact, I have been through quite a lot in my 37 years and I will admit, it is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I am almost at two months and last night I thought about breaking it. But my head finally won. Sweetheart, you have to know and realize he may never come back to you. It is a hard ****ing thing. You have to let go completely. Once you have, if he comes back, he will be coming back without any pressure from you and he will be coming back to the new better you!!! I hate NC!!! But for me, it was my last option and had helped a great deal. I am still not healed completely, but one day I will be!! Sucks not having what you want.
