A good 3-4 day weekend every other week thurs night- sunday or occasional monday and then her or i has to fly back. During the time we don't see each other, we talk on the phone or im alot. Recently, we have introduced "movie night". Most of the time its on a thursday night and we'll rent a movie together and watch it over the phone. This little activity has made us feel close even when we cant physically be together. Does anyone have any other things like watching a movie together that we can do that would make us feel close? Does anyone know any good sites to play checkers or any board game online with one another? Thanks.
TMichaels Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 aewsomeness43, Yahoo Games has a number of board and card games where the two of you can play in real-time with each other and/or two other people. You can also PM each other while you play via Yahoo Messenger which is nice since you can chat as you play, just as you might in the real world. Do you have a webcam? If not, that's a good way to see and talk to each other. Some people even have set up their webcams so that their partner can see them leave the house/come home everyday. If you search this forum, there have been other threads about how to have fun together/entertain yourselves on-line or long-distance using various technologies.
