The honeymoon stage is the beginning part of a relationship where you overlook all your SO's faults and in your eyes they can do no harm. Once you get past that, you have to learn to deal with your SO's shortcomings (and yes you will discover them!) and deal with conflict in an effective manner.

As far as "spending every night together." You can do that, however you most likely just find each other's faults faster if you are together that long. Your relationship can last, but since you most likely wont have been together that long, you need to try to find a way to deal with conflict faster so that your relationship doesn't crumble.

The honeymoon phase lasts anywhere between 3 to 12 months. The majority of couples do not go between this phase.

Sorry I meant the majority of couples do not go BEYOND this phase. Statistically, most couples break up by then.

Your question is way too broad.

The "honeymoon phase" is, as its name suggests, the earlier phase of a relationship. There aren't ten ways to define it.

As for the odds that it lasts if you take things fast, then again there isn't a ton of different answers.

Taking things fast will increase the chances of failure - but then again, I don't think people really choose how quickly they go about a relationship.

Not much to add, really.
