Myzterio Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Its been six months since we broke up. minimal contact to say around from may to june. I spent two years with this girl, enjoyed it, became a jerk in the end. I was just wondering, how would you feel if you were called a regret by your first love? Its alright I guess, im pretty much over it since she told me to **** off and regret me. That's pretty much what I question myself everyday.. kill me, embarrase me but why call me a regret? pretty harsh ay!
sao2 Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 I wouldn't take it too seriously. Even if in the long run it is still true, you won't care. Often what happens in drawn out breakups is that one or both parties have other stuff going on and they end up misplacing their anger on the other. It totally sucks and often leads to a misinterpretation of your actions as hostile. Don't give it a second thought, if she felt strongly enough to be that hurt then the things she says are all tainted with how hurt she is.
BklynGuy Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 She may believe that for now or believe it in general. I've had gf's, treated them terribly well....then realized I was just misplacing my energy on that individual. People change during relationships and since you said you became a jerk, maybe she has a valid argument.
