loveam Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 She was with her ex for 3 years, broke up two months before we got together, I was with my ex for 5 years, broke up a few months before. We've been together for 6 months. Once things got serious between us, we realized we have ex-issues. Basically we need time, and we both know it, but we do feel like we love each other and see a future together. We became dependent on each other. We are taking a break to deal with your respective ex baggage. Is there any hope? What's the best strategy? Strict NC required?
carhill Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 IMO, topical LC. Keep lines of communication open but without expectations. No limits on personal choice. That means you socialize with other people if you wish. If your connection is there, it will stand the test of time and distance
