henryccca Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I'm going on my second date with this wonderful woman and really looking forward to it of course, but we are both kind of shy and nervous right now. All along I have been wondering if there is any interest from her side and so tonight we were talking on the phone and I told her I liked her and there was "quiet"... I asked if she was still there and she said she was and was smiling and kind of "giddy", that is good --right? To get us to open up a little I thought we would go to a friends house and play some cards and have a few drinks. I'm hoping the conversation will be better considering my very dear friends are pretty cool and open there homes and hearts to all. I know its not much but thanks in advance to all who input:)
bigmanpayne Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 of course being giddy is a good thing! good luck!
Vicious_Delicious Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 Don't reveal too much interest too soon, get her to display it first. Just show her a good time every time you do go out. Keep those cards close to your chest man! You don't want to get a peak at your hand! Good luck.
JoeNewbie Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I highly agree with Vicious Delicious. On another point, I also think it is too early for a group date. If you can't maintain a good conversation without help from others, you won't be dating for long.
vanilla87 Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 haha, giddy as a school girl is all I can say as to how she reacted to you on the phone after you told her you liked her. I bet you she was blushing too when you told her that... Also make sure there are some females there at the house cause if its all guys and she doesn't know your friends or doesn't get along with guys soooo well then she will feel out of place. So make sure she feels comfy or she'll be thinking why the heck she came anyway besides to be with you...
