a) She is attracted to you and wants to know whether you are attracted to her as well.

b) She thinks you're a good pal and values your honest opinion.

c) She is very insecure indeed.

I would say A, if it's the same girl who mentioned the cheating boyfriend.

More multiple choice! Yay! Both A and C. Any girl who needs affirmations on her looks from the opposite sex is insecure. She also cares what you think, and wants to hear from YOU that she looks good.

Yes indeed. But she's also the same girl who turned down an invitation...

Don't we all want our ego to be fed? :)

B - that is because I always turn to my gay guyfriends or GFs for opinion (new haircut, style etc). I don't go to my guyfriends.

Never happened to me, think I would flip out a bit if it did. What an odd question.

I agree. I personally would not ask ANYONE whether I look good or not. I would not ask my friends and I would not ask my SO.

That is why I brought it up here. I just wondered why on Earth anyone would do this.

Add on - She's looking for attention and her ego boosted.

My suggestion, if she's hot, tell her she's hot...but make flirtatious remarks on nailing her. If she's creeped out, then tell her to vanish and to find someone else to kiss her arse. If she's flattered, then flirt more and ask her out.

If she tells you "I have a boyfriend", then make a remark on how it seems he's not telling her this, so obviously he's not doing it for her. If she gets mad and defends him, then tell her to vanish and find someone else to kiss her arse because obviously her boyfriend isn't doing it for her.
