I've seen my share of tough talkers. There are plenty of guys who make big claims when the situation is just hypothetical. I'm not pointing to anyone in particular here. But I've found it's true that most guys who make big claims about all the terrible doom they'd bring down on some other guy's head are either lying or would just make fools of themselves trying.

 

It's not unlike guys who claim they would be impervious to getting jerked around by a woman, but then the first thing that happens when they get involved with a woman is she starts jerking him around. And he's pretty ok with it.

 

The only guy you can ever trust to not be full of sh*t is the one who isn't saying much.

I once put a guy in the hospital (broke his elbow, black eye, cut above his ear that required 20 stiches) for taking a cheap shot at me. I warned him and he wouldn't listen. As soon as I turn my back he took a swing at me. Next thing he knew he was in the hospital.
