I have been in NC with my ex of almost 3 months (we were together for a few days shy of 11 years) and I have been in NC with him for 6 days... he still has some of his stuff here, he came here about 7 days to pick up a wire he needed. I asked him to make sure that this was all he needed.

He said I will call if there is something I remember, I said F that (to myself) and cleaned up alot and threw away alot of stuff I did not need and made a box for all the stuff I found that was his that I will give to his mother or have my sis drop off.

My neighbor told me of a website called spoofcard.com where you buy minutes enter in the destination number (which was his) and the number you want to appear on his caller id. I did it but I messed up, that day he came to pick up his stuff his new girl was in the car downstairs with him. I used her number as the destination number and he asked me how come he is getting these calls, i said I did not know. But damn was it fun!

I have no urge to call him, there is nothing more I can say. I have more pride than to call him when I know what the end result will be. This will be the first week NC initiated by me, so I just wanted to know if it Is it considered NC if you press *67 and hear their voice or do a spoof call?

Don't know if it counts but sure sounds like fun!

I would guess that it counts since you haven't said anything lol

well they actually change your voice for you, you could be a man or woman or have your own voice, it was SOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun, well worth it!

and NC is so good for your soul, you will have urges to call and speak to your ex but if you over power them you feel so powerful and healthy, you actually move forward!

I'd consider it contact - isn't the idea of NC that you really force yourself to forget them, and not engage in their world to continue thinking about them? It really drives a desire to improve yourself!
