I used to work with this super gorgeous blonde bombshell (9.5+/10 IMO) about a year ago at the same company. I was 22, she was 24 but had just gotten divorced. We used to always talk at work and became good work buddies but not really friends outside of work save for the occasional (once a month, usually not even that) lunch/dinner, etc.. I never made a move because I never thought she was interested in me although I was definitely interested in her and it was never flirtatious between us.

 

~1 year later (no contact since then) she emails me out of the blue.... :

What is my move now? Does she really just want to meet up and "catch up?" Does she want sex? Or is this one of those things that girls do where they are single and lonely and think, "Oh yeah, whatever happened to X? He was cute, nice, and a good guy? Nothing ever happened but maybe there was potential..."

 

So what do I do now? Should I pick a bar for drinks, a nice restaurant for dinner? Starbucks? How can I find out what her intentions are?

Second, I can see a bit of your Scorpion nature come into play. You're overanalyzing BB's motives when this has been her first contact in a year. Calm down. She's not asking for sex , she initiated contact because she's had your email and she just wants to catch up on things.

I think she meant by Big Brother that she has personal stuff to tell you that she doesn't want to use over work email, ie. her divorce is finalized and she can date people now.

 

DEFINITELY suggest a bar for drinks....she wants to "catch up with you" ie. see if you're single and available for her......

I do not think she's seeking sex at this point. Don't know what kind of woman she is, but I would suggest to a bar for drinks/snack meal. Dinner is too cozy, you don't want to scare her with that since as of now it all sounds very casual. I wouldn't really suggest Starbucks.
