Mieklol Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 I'm 16 and I am head over heels in love. Everything was going well until I realised I wouldn't be able to see her when I start college because her parents are overly controlling, they wouldn't allow me to see her in the evening, and they stay at a caravan every weekend. Now, I'd be fine with this, I'd battle through, because I love her so dearly, I'd wait to see her and make the most of it when I did. She has a lot on her mind, a lot of worries and everything, that's why she fell for me, because I helped her through a lot of things. However, she now wants to be apart until she can clear her head, which is fair enough, I'd give my own life for her to be happy. But, when I brought up college, she must have come to a sad realisation. She had been worrying about it, but maintained we could make it work. I must have made it explicit for her, because she now doesn't want to get back together unless we can make it work i.e see each other, which is unlikely because of her parents. I can NOT let them win. She needs to realise that she must break away from their hold otherwise, regardless of myself, she will never be able to have a boyfriend or a lover. What can I do? Please, please, please help. P.s, she's 16 also and yes she loves me.
Author Mieklol Posted August 10, 2008 Author Posted August 10, 2008 Sod it, I texted her, asking if there was any change, she said no, that I'm mithering, that all I do is doubt her, that she can't see us working and that we should just leave it. Didn't see that coming.
SweetTux Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Let me ask you some questions... Are you both not going to the same college? The good thing about college is... She could always schedule her classes in the afternoon and evening and then you two could see each other in the morning.. Theres lots of possibilities.. Let me know if you two are going to different colleges or something... Cause if its the same college I'm sure you two will see each other... if its different than how far apart are they?

Different colleges, about 2-3 miles apart, but she's finished me now. She said I was always doubting her, which I wasn't. I was scared of losing her. She always thought I'd leave her in the end, that I only rung because I felt I had to and that I only told her how I felt to make her feel better. Apparently she's never had faith in us. Whoop-dee-do.
