HiItsMe Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 ....as to what it should be. Something I've noticed, when a woman (not sure about a man, because I don't pursue men), if they are some kind of friend or acquaintence, that is currently seeing someone, they have no problem corresponding with you by email or phone. However, as SOON as they become UN-attached, your next email to them goes unanswered. Is it because she's aware that soon as news is spread about about her availability, she'll do what she can to keep a low profile, whilst men come out of the wood work to ask her out? Or they WILL respond, but they won't stay on the phone with you for 1 hur, more like 1 minute. lol They become "short" with you if you do happen to catch them.
Nevermind Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 If the change happens as soon as they are single again, then it might be due to heartache. Maybe they just like to keep it simple and stay in contact with really good friends for the first days/weeks?
KC11111 Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 I don't know that this applies to your situation & everyone handles things differently but for me, I tend to get short w/someone like that after they've said/done something offensive/hurtful. I consider myself a very reasonable person but if you push my buttons, I am going to let you know it. I'm kind of like a pincher w/little claws & I can be very blunt in that sense.
xpaperxcutx Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 Maybe she just doesn't want to talk. I had a guy asked me about my love life once. When I said I just broke up with him, the guy started telling me his condolences and tries to hit on me. Desperate much?
