Ok what generic stupid answer am I suppose to put here? I guess I would go on your standard boring-ass date, eat like civilized humans in a over priced themed restaurant while making small talk and drinking fancy umbrella drinks to get our ''fear factor'' down so we can actually say what we mean. Then we could go see a movie. I mean that is a ok date but how about something diffrent. Something creative??? How about we meet and check each other out and if we are not totally repulsed by one another then we can go from there.

Yikes...someone's crabby.

Yeah, if I went out with this person I would think they were expecting the worst. People who expect the worst tend to fixate on little things they don't like, so as to confirm their expectations. See? I told you everyone sucks, they say.

I like the idea behind the words. I like it a lot. It surely would help it if the person found a way to express it without sounding so much like a needy, cheap and whiny pain in the ass.

Might as well just say, " wanna hit a hotel?"

I'm sure you'll attract alot of women...

Eugh! This profile could also say 'unimaginative loser wants a date'

Not saying the person is a loser but thats how it sounds.

Posted

Methinks the person was just being sarcastic and... different.

Posted

It doesnt sound different - it's not particularly imaginitive - and the sarcasm comes off as really unappealing.

Hey! That's my profile!

Lol. I just don't see the problem in going to a restaurant and eating. I don't like the movie thing on a first date because it takes more time than I'm willing too spend on a first date, and it does't allow for conversation, which is what any first date should be about. How can we know if there is possibly a good match if half the time is spent not talkinng? I don't need creativity on a first date. With my first log term boyfriend, I went to a 50's joint for our first date, and I went to a cafe, than shopping on my fiirst date with my last long term boyfriend. Us, talking, that provided all the excitement I need. I didn't drink either time either. I tend to be talkative, and ask lots of questions though.

Actually, it was a woman.

Actually, it was a woman.

:DThat was my first question - was that posted by a guy or a girl?

Either way, this person has no clue how to attract the opposite sex - or anyone else. They're shooting themselves in the foot!

It sounds like a fake profile or one created by someone getting drunk on Friday night and just decides to hit the dating sites for something to do for the night..

It also could be a phony profile of some guy or girl that she doesn't want to get hit on, she only wants to use the profile to check up on the guy she is dating or her ex..

Most women have at least 2 profiles on a dating site..sometimes 3..

I had 3.. one real one.. one that I was a girl on that I used to use to surf guy profiles to see what the competition was up to.. and one profile ( hidden ) profile to use to hit on peoples profiles so you didn't show up on their profile as someone looking until I was sure I wanted to contact the..

The third one got rid of those stupid emails ".. Hey I noticed you read my profile and didn't email me.. why ?"

My wife also had 2 profiles.. most people do.. She used her profile in the same fashion as I did with my third.. to check out guys first so she didn't get those same stupid emails..

It kills me that people think everything they read on a dating site is real..

Heck.. try and figure out which profiles are prostitutes.. they are there...

I have run into them and until I figured out how to tell I would even email them thinking it was a real profile looking for dates...

hahaha that is a hilarious profile...and the reason I don't use online dating.

lol, oh man that was funny!

Back when I had a profile on a dating site (a lo-o-o-ong time ago), I actually heard from a couple of undercover cops. They had apparently set up a sting, trolling the site to weed-out the prostitutes. One of them (after we'd gone back & forth with a few emails) said "I knew you were OK." It was weird.

I always thought that was incredibly rude. That, and a guy trying to argue with me after I'd said thanks but no thanks. Sheeeeeeesh. Who needs it??!

I like her. She gets right to the point and seems to share my disdain for overpriced restaurants. I would recommend her for a friend.

How about those "Profile Testimonials"

I would see men singing praises about how wonderful this woman is...but if she's so wonderful , then how come she's not dating the guy who is singing praises about her?

The guy must be trying to get into her pants or something, right? LOL

actually... call me crazy, but i kinda like her approach... its dripping with self-effacing humor (that's the tone i got out of it)... this person is probably wacky and interesting... :o and she obviously doesn't take online dating too seriously... unlike lots of people out there...
