Ummm... he IS a teenager himself. For the OP, I'm a chick and I don't think it is creepy or a huge deal for an 18 year old guy wanting to date a 16 year old girl. You are either in your last year of high school or out and on your way to college. Now if you were 24 and she was 16, that would be creepy as you would have had a different life experience going to college and maturing more in that time frame. But at 18, and her at 16, you might be on the same maturity level as guys tend to mature slower. I also think it shows maturity on your part to even ask if it would be all right! If her parents are cool with it, you are in an even better spot. If you like her, I'd say go for it. But always remember that you are a few years older and to not preasure her into doing anything she isn't ready for. Of course when they get older they endlessly bitch about men dating women younger than them. Because it makes us feel like you are replacing us. It isn't that hard to understand. Nobody wants to feel replacable. And when men replace you based on something you can't even control, it hurts. Get it?

IF the answer is 'yes', then simply DROP the idea like a hot rock!!!! If the answer is anything other than yes, then do whatever you want, as we as a society then no longer have any concerns with your consensual decisions.

By the way, if you have never had a girlfriend and she has never had a boyfriend, I would hope that you would not just jump into sex. I don't see anything wrong with her being 16 and you being 18... I am 10 years younger than my fiance. Also in school, I would only date guys older. (That's what most girls want.) Have a great day! -c

Find out what the law is in your area it may not be ilegal for some one your age to be with some one her age. Finaly even if it is ilegal I would do it anyways because a guy with no experience like you needs some, Heck I would even have sex with her. Finaly just check the law in your area this may not even be ilegal, the only thing we can say for sure is ilegal if u live in the US is taking porno pics of her. and pics, getting her preg, or being caught in the act or the only way you could get caught anyways other then admiting it. But like I said check the laws in your area this may be fine, and I don't see anything moraly wrong with this even if you do want to have sex.
