freemymind Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 I have a boyfriend, but i cant stop thinking about my ex. My ex and i havent been together in soooo long because he had a baby with another girl. He used to tell me all the time that he still loved me and really wanted to be with me but that it was just really complicated and didnt want to do anything to jeperdize seeing his baby. I believed him for a while and trusted him, but finaly i got fed up so i told him that i couldnt talk to him anymore. He tried getting ahold of my a couple time after but i still declined. Now i have a boyfriend who i am completely and madly in love with. Im living with him and he treats me sooooo good! Way better than my ex did. But i cant stop thinking about him. It drives me crazy because i know i could never let myself leave my current boyfriend for my ex. I thought maybe i just needed some closure or just needed to be "cool" with my ex and know that there are no harsh feeling between the two of us. Well were "cool" now but im still thinking about him and wondering when were gona have our next convo and what not. I need help! Please =[
CHANTRESS Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 FMM...Your ex is tied to ANOTHER relationship.Whether he uses the child as an excuse is irrleevant.The fact is he is not free to be with YOU. I treat these relationships much like Married Men. Best to treat them as if they are married and OFF limits..otherwise...you are inviting a world of drama. You are much better than that. Not only that but he is not making the neccessary moves to prove he is even remotely interested in that sort of relationship. Until he does, focus on YOU and your relationship.....
