billyboy13 Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Okay, well I met this girl at a friend's party and I thought she was kind of cool. She gave me her number and wanted to talk to me more. So we went out a few more times, though not really as dates because we had invited other friends and had a lot of fun. Even though we went with other people we always ended up together at the end of the night. One of our mutual friends kept telling me that she had said she really liked me. During one of these get-togethers, I noticed she started talking to this different guy at a place we were at. Sooner or later they were outside by themselves talking, giggling, and seemed to be really connecting. I thought to myself that's okay, she can do what she wants we were just friends anyway. The day after, she called me pissed off that I was "distant," and I really didn't know what to tell her so I just said I was a little drunk and tired, but really I wasn't the one that was distant, she was. She calls me a few days later asking if I wanted to go out sometime, and I said sure. I wasn't sure what to think about the other guy because they seemed to be hitting it off that night. That night I went to a movie with a friend. After the movie I was texted to come and meet her at this club, so once I got there, guess who else was there? That guy. Then I learn that they had been dating since that one "distant" night. Now I really don't mind if shes dating someone else because she can do whatever she wants. I like this girl, I think she has a great personality, and is really really sweet. But I cannot for the life of me figure out what she's thinking, I was told she really likes me, we keep talking on the phone with each other, and she keeps leading me on, but then lets me down. She called again today but I just ignored the phone call until I can think about what to tell her. So what should I tell her? I never really came out and told her what I thought about her, but I think thats too late now... or is it? What should I do?

carhill Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Tell her you're going to the movies this Friday and would love for her to join you. If friends are mentioned, merely say "I only have tickets for two". If that isn't clear enough for her, or if she waffles, move on. Don't waste time with wafflers.
