nyr81 Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 This girl I like blushed when I went to kiss her on the cheek. How to interpret that? Does she like me? Or was she just embarrased by the situation?
Angel1111 Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 I think she's probably a little shy and was maybe taken by surprise by this gesture. I'm not sure if blushing has anything to do with like or dislike - never thought of it like that, really - but she probably blushed because she likes you and was flattered by your kiss.
Hestia123 Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Were there people around? Did she smile? I would say she is attracted. The only other reason to blush is embarrassment, but if you were comfortable enough with her to display your affection so openly, then I guess there's already a good chemistry at work? A simple pat on the back, if given by someone I'm attracted to, would make me blush. Some girls are shy like that.
xpaperxcutx Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Awwww, you kissed her on the cheek... she likes you, and was a bit taken aback that you were such a gentleman. You've got a winner here. Don't mess it up.
Author nyr81 Posted August 5, 2008 Author Posted August 5, 2008 i think there is chemistry there. she has been playing hard to get and when I called her out on that as a joke she texted me to say yeah and that she got my voicemail and said I was a jerk. I'm interpreting that as sarcastic. because if i called her out on being hard to get and she didnt response that probably meant I scared her away. No?

She took it offensively because you called her out on something that might not have been true. She could've been shy as a person and you misinterpreted it as playing hard to get.
Author nyr81 Posted August 5, 2008 Author Posted August 5, 2008 ok but i did say it to her jokingly. And said I was only kidding. Hoping that it didnt offend her.
