GanglyGooGoo Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Does this affect all men or just me? Ive been dating a girl for about three weeks...weve been out together twice and we have had a good time...thats what she tells me. I told her i liked her when i first asked her out on a date and i thought that was really the only time i would have to say it. i thought that by showing her i'm interested by arranging dates and making sure she was comfortable and enjoying her time with me...that she'd realize i do like her.... to cut a long story short...ive told her three times that i liked her...all because she thought i no longer meant it or changed my mind...wtf...seriously. i've been out with her twice and each time ive grown more attracted to her and im feeling more comfortable around her...she says the samething...so why would she think that i have lost interest? i told my friend about this and she said...some women need constant reassurance from their man they are still interested. why is this? is this because she has low esteem? lack of confidence? clingy? stark raving mad? are there any men who have dealt with this before and are there any women who are like this? i felt a bit annoyed and confused when she told me...because ive never been interested in someone as much as i am with her. other than this everything has gone like clockwork and im meeting her tomorrow.
silvergirl Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 What does she do? Does she literally ask you if you are still interested?
Author GanglyGooGoo Posted August 5, 2008 Author Posted August 5, 2008 nu huh! she will be shrewd and say..."i'm happier when im own my own"..."i havent found anyone who wants to be with me"..."i have no luck, no one wants me". stuff like that....its beginning to anger me. then when i say i am interested...she smiles and says sorry for being an idiot.
silvergirl Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Ok, she's sounds a little crazy. Does she seem to have low self esteem, or does she carry herself well? It also sounds to me like she may be testing you, to see how you really feel.
