question about seperation?

I have been seperated from my wife now for 8 months we still talk and do things every once in a while neither of us is seeing anyone else. Ive tried the no contact thing, but after a week or so she will call and say she missed talking to me and say she is confused about this whole thing and doesnt know why we are not back together yet.What should I do when she does this? I want to be with her and I very much love her she is my best friend and I do realize that there are other women out there that could take her place,so I'm not needy or desperate to be with her just because she is my wife and i love her I just feel like everything that I want is right there I just need to somehow get her to commit to work on the marriage and us start somewhere instead of just going around in circles over and over again Im pretty sure she loves me and wants to stay married to me she even wants a kid all of the sudden more so that before we broke up. so what should i do? It seems like when I ignore her and be somewhat of a jerk to her it might piss her off but she comes back for more and really opens up more so should i be a jerk and act like i dont care or what im totally confussed, please help

8 months is a long time to be separated, and I don't think playing games by being a jerk to her is the answer. Tell her how you feel, that you want to get back together and really work on things again. If she says no and she's not ready yet, then I think it's time for you to move on with your life. Tell her you want to give it one last shot but you're not going to wait around anymore. Start the divorce process and start dating again.

 

As far as wanting a kid, that's the last thing you both need right now. Either make it work or let go. Make a choice.

I agree with lonestar. Tell her that you want to give it one more shot, be honest, if she doesn't want to, then start the divorce process, and please please don't bring a child into this world!!!
