Just wondering if any body else experiences frustration about something that opposite sex does. Everyone post =) interesting subject Is this all guys or just confined to our SO? Anyway I will do both then. a) guys in general: guys who jokingly tease/make fun of you (and then say "oh I'm just playin") b) my boyfriend: he can be very argumentative and he doesn't like to admit he's wrong (although that may be true of everyone in general)
Author xjohnsgirlx Posted August 4, 2008 Author Posted August 4, 2008 Just the opposite sex in general. Im not too bad with guys who joke around.. unless they take it too far.. i basically laugh at anything .. lol which probably isnt the best. =) *hug*

Im not too bad with guys who joke around.. unless they take it too far.. i basically laugh at anything .. lol which probably isnt the best. =) *hug* Well, I hate men who smoke it's really gross. Of course the same goes for women, but guys who chain smoke smell nasty and it's a real turn off.
Author xjohnsgirlx Posted August 4, 2008 Author Posted August 4, 2008 agreed, especially if you can smell it on their breath when they walk past. Its off putting XD
Lauriebell82 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 I hate when guys have no manners, like they belch or fart in front of you. Even if they are just your friend, it's still gross. I went out with a guy for a few months who would do that and it was disgusting.
Author xjohnsgirlx Posted August 4, 2008 Author Posted August 4, 2008 B.O. is another ... i really cannot see how guys dont just carry some deoderant around with them. Like if they cant help persperating... carry something to cover it up.
Woggle Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 I also can't stand women who are unpleasable. No matter how good they have it they will always feel like they settled and will always be unhappy.
Lauriebell82 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 I hate when guys swear a lot. They say the "f word" like 20 times in a sentence and they sound vulgar and crude. I hate when people swear a lot in general, but it's the ones who say it just about every other word that gets me.
Author xjohnsgirlx Posted August 4, 2008 Author Posted August 4, 2008 I dislike women who demand and expect and whinge and whine when they don't like something. They're never happy to reach the happy medium or compromise, it has to be their way or the highway. I'd avoid women like who possess these traits as I would with the bubonic plaque. Can i ask what you mean by Bubonic. I understand your point though. We are living in the Want it have it now century. Counts for both guys and girls. Guys dont really whinge which i love, i find it alot easier to make guy friends, less bitchiness

No matter how good they have it they will always feel like they settled and will always be unhappy. Lol some girls just think that money grows on trees and why shouldnt they get everything, but they have whined so much that their sick of their own voice that they give up and supposidly settle for less. Its like a lil kid who wants a toy and beg and begs for it and then they get it and dont want it. Im just greatful for what i do get. Some girls (even guys) just dont understand that having everything isnt important.
Lauriebell82 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Bubonic refers to the swelling of the groinal area. The bubonic plaque was recently attributed to the plaque that swept across Europe in the 14th Century claiming the lives of roughly 60% of Europe's population. It wiped out two thirds of London at one stage. Yikes, that doesn't sound pretty. I have to agree with you, we do live in a very fast world, where people just expect and demand and more often than not a woman's expectations are not only fantasy, but also highly offensive. I walked out of a bar mid way through a third meeting with a girl late last year, because she was so demanding and highly critical. I just wanted to explode with rage mid-way through the third meeting. Attibuted to both genders I think. Another thing that is annoying is when guys expect you to sleep with them on the first date. Now not all guys do this, but for girls who don't give it up that easily this can be a pain to try to fight the guy off.
alexa137 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 they cheat lie and cant commit! doesnt matter the age or race!
Lauriebell82 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 I know it's atrributed to both genders, but this thread is designed for both genders to post their gripes with the opposite gender. Yeah, I was agreeing that it annoys me when guys do the same thing. Guys generally do not like to compromise about what to watch on tv. It's all about monster truck rallys and UFC fighting championship stuff. But when Friends comes on it's like a travesty.
Shygirl15 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Shamelessly check out other women infront of their GFs.
Lauriebell82 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Shamelessly check out other women infront of their GFs. Yeah, totally agree with that one. I dated a guy once who would actually flirt with girls right in front of me.
shadowplay Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Only certain types of guys really get under my skin. 1.) Dude robots. Usually college-aged guys who say "dude" every other word, smoke pot, listen to Sublime, Bob Marley and Led Zeppelin, play the guitar despite being utterly talentless, wear hemp chokers around their necks or wrists, walk around in flip flops or barefoot, move in packs with their dude clones, favorite movies: Fight Club, The Big Lebowski, most anything by Kubrick. Basically talk like they stepped out of a Doritos or Sierra Mist commercial. There are two variants: the hippy/stoner type and the jock/mainstream type but they're basically the same breed give or take a few dreads and items of clothing. What they all have in common is thinking they're cool or counterculture despite appearing utterly lame and unoriginal to everyone on the outside. My ex lived under a colony of dude robots who wouldn't shut up, and every night we were the unwilling recipients of their verbal diarrhea. 2.) Corporate Jocks "Grown up" frat boys who populate the financial districts of most major cities, commuting between their boring mid-level management jobs in business or finance that they got through their parents' friends. Usually went to some huge party school like B.U. or Florida State where they majored in economics, communications, finance, sociology or business. Often conservative and misogynistic. Wear pastel polo shirts on the weekends. 3.) The woman-bashers on this site who come out of the woodwork whenever there's a faintly misogynistic post. Usually passive creeps in real life who suddenly grow balls behind a computer screen. I have this image of them crawling out of their holes, blind and hairless, to write their posts and then slithering back underground.
quankanne Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 the most annoying thing about men? Their pig-headed belief that because they possess a Y chromosome, they're right. About everything. Very irritating, IMO ...
Tyra Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 One thing that I hate is when a guy begs a woman for money. I hate this so much.
grogster Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 1.) Control Freaks Women who assume that behind every "great" man is a woman who tells him how to eat, dress, play and socialize. Their controlling nature often attempts to feminize the masculine. They control through emasculation. 2.) Double Messengers Women who excel at sending double messages to confused and perplexed males. There "double bind" communications frequently keep the guy off balance. These women dominate through nuanced passive-aggressiveness. 3.) Porn Busters Women who deny the man the right to enjoy porn because it makes her feel bad, insecure, unloved, etc. I'm not talking about porn-obsessed males. Rather, guys who like to spend a few moments each week enjoying some pictures or a YouPorn video. These woman employ their insecurities to censor and regulate male sexuality. By the way, great post Shadowplay--especially your last category.

I mean it's one thing if the guy has a full-blown addiction that is sapping all of his sexual energy, but usually that's not the case.
Trialbyfire Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Two main issues I have with men in general. Not all men are like this. Too much emphasis placed on arm-trophy and not enough consideration for the person inside. Shallow.Self-centered. What's in it for me? What have you done for me lately?
