Do you ever go back and read your past threads when you were trying to get over them or trying to get them back? Or do sometimes you just think to yourself 'Wow I could have done much better? Also have you ever had a ex come back just turn them down?
Author WiseOne1 Posted August 3, 2008 Author Posted August 3, 2008 I think about my ex for 4 years ago, it was so pittiful and it was so funny when you think about it. Here I was moaning and feeling like I would never get over her, and once she did come back the whole school had been thru her. I felt like I could never love again and I felt like I would never get over her, I thougt I would be plotting my whole life on how to get her back. Its just shocking how you can love someone so much, and then its gone!!!! Sometimes I go back and read my old threads from years ago just to see how other people around me seen me.

When I look back I must have been nuts, well I WAS but at the time as my ex had done such a number on me and I felt so down on myself. Yes he came back after I met a new guy who treated me with respect. I laughed at him and told him no way! He still tries to get back with me Not gonna happen! His loss!

Lol, its crazy how you think that 1 person is the only person that can make you happy, and for alot of people its there first time going thru the experience. But alot of posters need to know, that one day rather you like it or not your gonna get over them. But I feel like such a fool now, If i could go back in time, I would have moved on with a new gf the next day.
Lishy Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Oh hindsight is a wonderful thing! We do things and then look back and wonder why the hell we do it! When I look back on FWB guy I see a man I would not want to be with for 5 minutes and yet I was CRAZY about him. I would lay in bed just thinking about him and when I saw him I would melt. WHY????????????? He was so not the man for me and he was so lucky to get a chance with me, let alone turn me down hahhaha I look back and laugh and when I bump into him now I see he is still so interested and it is great to tell him where to go!

I ever did a crazy thing like drive by her house, call her 3-4 times & email her saying I was sorry. Boy man, I was so stupid but my mind was really messed up, at the time it wasn't funny but now when I think about the entire situtation relationsihp, I its still not funny. I loved that girl & she hurt me dearly. So far she hasn't come back, been about 6 months. The sad part is I don't think she has any regrets, I think she thinks she found better. I am sure I am the LAST thing on her mind. Now my mind is kicking in and its rather funny, my ex had low self-esteem, she thought I didn't love her but in the end she told me about myself, sort of suprising that she found the courage, I wish she would of displayed this kind of mentaility during the course of our relationship. I did read my post on the subject, OH MY GOD, was I obsessed with her, its kind of sad now when I read it. I was in deninal in the begining but no contact in 6 months = sends a message loud & clear. I didn't know I would get over her, for a time, it seem like I would be stuck with this feeling I have, but as time goes on & i was able to aquire new experiences, her memories just got stored in the back of my mind, like it was the past (which is was) & now I'm just waiting to meet someone to spend time with. Something to look forward too as opposed to looking back on the ex.

I think its kinda embarrasing when we act like that over another person. I've been thru this whole break up thing before so Im not gonna make the same mistakes I made with my last ex along time ago, right now me and my current ex broke up 4 months ago, and im taking it wayyy better. Or maybe it was just your first love hurts way worse when yall broke up. Now regardless of what happens I have my down days, and and stand up and say "Da Champ Is Here" because I know i will get over them. Me and John Cena are just so much alike.
