stoopid_guy Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Would a monogamous relationship with your spouse be "outfidelity?"
torranceshipman Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 LOL!!!! Honestly, stoopid guy, think about it.... It would simply be 'fidelity', as the state of not exercising fidelity is 'infidelity'. Thus, no need for 'outfidelity'!!!
Mr. Lucky Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Would a monogamous relationship with your spouse be "outfidelity?" You know, I've also thought the word was strange. If you broke it apart and said "My wife and I are in fidelity", it sounds pretty healthy, right ? Don't get me started on "flammable" and "inflammable"... Mr. Lucky
Lookingforward Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Isn't that why there are insurance companies called Fidelity Life (or variations of) ?
torranceshipman Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Now this thread has made me think about High Fidelity, that song by the kids from Fame  What does High Fidelity mean, then?
Lookingforward Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Now this thread has made me think about High Fidelity, that song by the kids from Fame  What does High Fidelity mean, then? In that instance - talking about audio - fidelity means purity as in High Fidelity is purity of sound. That's where we get Hi-Fi from......Not sure it relates to the song.
Author stoopid_guy Posted August 4, 2008 Author Posted August 4, 2008 So how about "infidel" then. Does an infedel engage in infidelity? (No wopnder they're so unpopular!)
Lookingforward Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 So how about "infidel" then. Does an infedel engage in infidelity? (No wopnder they're so unpopular!) An infidel may be in fidel with you ? Gawd, English is a weird language
Agent_99 Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 So how about "infidel" then. Does an infedel engage in infidelity? (No wopnder they're so unpopular!) and then wouldn't the opposite of an infidel, be a fiddle? But then what about playing 'second' fiddle. I'm confused
