JoeNewbie Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 I work for an insurance company and recently started to work with this girl Sarah. So far all of our interactions have been punctuated with good eye contact, lots of teasing and plenty of smiles and laughters. I was sick last week and she had to work overtime to cover for me. I casually mentioned I'd pay her a drink next time we have an office gathering and since then she has been constantly reminding me of my debt to her. She came by my desk to get a folder and when I asked her whether she needed anything else from me, she said she could use a drink. The next day she's at my desk to hand the folder back to me and before she left she jokingly mentioned how anxious she was to get that drink. I guess some people are friendlier than others but does she seem flirty or friendly to you?
geotaz Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 seem's flirty my advice take her out for that drink and take it from there
carhill Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 If fishing in the company pond is OK, ask her out. Her response will tell you everything you need to know. My first instinct is, if you don't know her otherwise (and know her private situation), that she's getting a minor ego feed from you. It'll be obvious once you ask her out.
Keridan Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Oh jeez, man. Take her out! If she mentioned it that many times, she is hinting around and wanting you to get the courage to ask. Worst case scenario: She's looking for a friend and you get to hang out with someone you enjoy for a while.

I don't know ,but it sound's like she's a little eager to me.Do you know if she recently broke-up with someone? Cause she could be using you to make some jealous.Above it all take her out but be careful not to get involve to quickly without all the facts.
Author JoeNewbie Posted August 2, 2008 Author Posted August 2, 2008 Thanks guys. I don't know her situation and she doesn't know mine either. I think I might start with a group activity and see if she's willing to extend the evening. I don't know her very well but she is by far the prettiest and friendliest of the bunch.
Author JoeNewbie Posted August 3, 2008 Author Posted August 3, 2008 Does anyone else want to share their opinion on my situation? Flirty or friendly?
