A.G.Doren Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 I'm 5'10, a natural 34DDD or F, -depending on where you're selling bras- currently I bleach my hair. No one has ever mistaken me for dumb. I've been called opinionated, brilliant and intimidating, but never dumb. I have heard that stereotype about big breast, but it never prompted me to try and disguse the largesse of my chest. Highschool experience taught me that it was impossible to hide them successfully. You wouldn't believe the number of times I heard "hey girl what you got under that t-shirt?" when I was junoir. I got treated much more respectfully when I stopped hiding myself.
HiItsMe Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 I have a new bf these days and he said something that I have encountered in recent years. He is shocked once he feels and/or sees the size of my breasts. I am currently a 34D. How does this happen? Let me explain ... I am 5'10". Growing up I was always head and shoulders above the other kids until puberty hit, then the boys (and a few girls) started to catch up with me on the height charts. Then puberty hit. I went through the awkward stage, becoming fat and going through horemonal changes. When everything settled into a woman's body from a child's body, my boobs stayed big. With the height and my big breats, I was doubly self concious, so to this day I slouch. I had been a 36C since puberty. Then I gained quite a bit of weight and they grew to 36DD. I lost 45 lbs in the last two years, am in the middle range of my high school weight at age 33, and now they are 34D. As an adult I am not self concious about my height or my breast size, but I am well aware of the stereotype that women with big breasts are seen as stupid rather than smart. I keep them under wraps by my slouch and not showing them by the clothes I wear. I try to impress others with my mind first rather than my D cups. Just recently, my currant bf said after he saw them for the first time "WOW!". He said the same thing most guys I have been with all my life after the fact. "You are busty!" Are you really considered stupid if you have big breasts? I think they don't really care about your mind, but just in case they think I'm a pea brain I don't show them the goods until it's earned. Is that weird? I noticed you talk about your breasts alot in these forums. Keep up the good work!!
Balthazar Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 I would actually have to see the breasts we are talking about before deeming a person intelligent or dumb. Can that be arranged?
Water Tiger 08 Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 I would actually have to see the breasts we are talking about before deeming a person intelligent or dumb. Can that be arranged? But that would only be in a clincal way, of course. lol Sorry, I think the only person who is worried about if you look stupid because of your breast size is you. Just erase that association from your mind. I'm sure you look great and smart. To me the brain is the make or break deal in sexiness. Curtis
Carmen87 Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 I am 5'5" and 117lbs with 34D boobs. At times, I just look awkward. I do get labeled 'slut' by other girls because of it, but I don't believe anyone has ever assumed I was stupid because of them.

And for the OP big breasted has nothing to do with intelligence.
wittygirl09 Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 I know what you mean. I am 5'3", 127 lbs and am a 34D. My boobs aren't that huge, I can get away with wearing a 36B/C actually (but the 34D just fits better and is more comfortable) but because they look HUGE on my small frame, I have noticed a lot of guys are intimidated when we get into a debate or something. They expect me to be ditzy and then I open my mouth and they just stand there looking like idiots. It sucks but what can you do? The sad thing is, I wish my boobs were a bit bigger. My cup size is fine but I wish I had a bigger band size (36.) I have a slightly pear shaped body so it would help balance things out.
katherinev87 Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 I am a 30D.... and as a former bra fitter I bet some of you gals are wearing the wrong bra size! lol. Since my back is a 30... my D's are only relevant to the backsize and therefore don't appear huge. (like my volume of cup would look like say a 34B). I've been stereotyped because of my blonde hair...but never because of my boobs. The most common bra size I measured and sold at my shop was 32F. You would think that to be huge... but most of those women came in wearing an incorrect 36C or 34D and when properly fitted walked out with an F cup. I too used to be a bra fitter....myself, I am a 34G....and I have never had my breasts associated with my intelligence. If that is happening to you...I would question the intelligence of the guy. Yes, there are some stereotypes that busty girls fit into...but in alot of cases they put themselves in that position by wearing ultra-revealing clothing to blatantly flaunt themselves in a sexual way. I do not, for the record, have an issue with girls who are proud of their assets, and are confident enough to display them. However, I do think they could be more tastefully and attractively flaunted if clothing was actually designed to fit us... So my friend...pull your shoulders back, hold your head high, and be proud of your beauties. It took me a long time to get there, but I wouldn't trade them for the world....back-aches and all. Remember, any man that wrongly assumes something about you, or puts you into some stereotype group that you don't fit into....he's not worth your time.
vedderbetter Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 I'm 5'8 with 34DDs AND blonde hair AND a young looking face. So yeah, I get the "Oh aren't you cute you little dumb girl" crap from certain types of men but it doesn't bother me. I always love it when they find out I have my Masters, moving on to a PhD AND I paid for a lot of it by posing for Playboy in my early twenties. HAHA!! Thanks for paying for my college education all you pervs!
paddington bear Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 I'm 34 DD too...maybe that does make me stupid, I never notice guys looking at my breasts and think that they are all absolutely interested in my sparkling wit and conversational skills and never even have a peep at my boobage. Breast size = level of intelligence, never heard that one before. I think it's how you wear 'em. If you're presenting an overall package of cheap tarty sex then yeah maybe that's all you'll be seen as. If you're generally classy and wear a low cut top from time to time no ones going to see you as dumb.
Amiss Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 I'm slightly bigger than 34DD but don't really notice men looking at my boobs or treating me as stupid because of their size. Maybe I have been lucky? My boyfriend recently admitted to being "shocked" at the size of my boobs when we decided to date which surprised me. Men are obsessed with breast size and need to calm down! Why assume a woman is dumb if she is blessed with double D's? They are just 2 lumps of flesh
carhill Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 I'm thinking we really need to organize a LS cruise
Balthazar Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Men are obsessed with breast size and need to calm down! Why assume a woman is dumb if she is blessed with double D's? They are just 2 lumps of flesh I will not have you talking about them like that! I won't, won't, I won't, I won't I won't, won't, I won't, I won't I won't, won't, I won't, I won't I won't, won't, I won't, I won't ..oops... am i obsessing? ANyway, they are the source of all that is good and it is has been empirically proven that babies that breast feed are MORE intelligent than babies who don't. As for myself, I still breast feed when I can...just not from mom:laugh:. And I feel myself getting smarter each day....
Amiss Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 They ARE just lumps of flesh! I wasn't breast fed as a baby and don't have any children but have "breast fed" my boyfriend. Why have I just admitted that in public?!
