I ask her wtf she is calling me and she says she wanted to see if i was still alive. Just as I was finally forgetting her too. WTF. She says she might come see me play at an open mic on sunday (yesterday) and she asks I text her. I say I might (Im hoping I wont). So I come up to my old home town to see my best friend and while out on sunday I stupidly text her. Gawd. What a moron. Cause I knew she would ignore me and thats exactly what happened. She texts me the next morning. I call her tonight. I'm so weak, and right back to where I started. I wish she would ****ing die already so I can move on with my goddamn life! I HATE YOU

Leoni Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Each time you cave, it makes you realize why you chose NC. All you have to do is to look at how you feel right now and realize that it's not what you want. Relationships usually dissolve for good reason(s).
v33 Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Welcome to the "game". She contacts you, you humor her. You get to thinking about her, text or call her and she ignores you. She makes you wait a little longer, she calls, you talk... you try to make contact after that, you get ignored. You feel like crap. The cycle repeats. This is fun for her. Sounds like total NC is the only option here. Don't beat yourself up over it, but shut her back out ASAP.

I HATE YOU She was fishing for an ego boost, and you gave it to her. That is what ex's do. They just want the personal satisfaction of KNOWING you are still wanting them: hook line and sinker. As soon as you do, they get their boost and forget you till they need another fix. Don't fall for it next time.

Everyone is right, she is just toying with you. I screwed up NC lots of times but I never gave up, start again and this time do it!! Good Luck
kyta Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Dont kick yourself, i bumped in to mine last week and spoke to her for the first time after 7wks of nc, screwed me up for a few days but noiw im ok, most ppl break it at some point, but its just another learning curve, you now know not to do it again, well i know i wont be doing it again never worth giving them the boost, i even told mine i still loved her (dam my big mouth) but didnt ask her back, learn and dont do it again.
