Hi folks. Four year relationship ended when my ex g/f moved in with another (younger) man. It's been about 3 months now since we split and I've not heard a word from her. I've been doing all the right things, like NC, going to the gym, playing sports, going out with friends and things have been a little easier recently. But today? Today I felt like my whole world had fallen apart. No reason, nothing happened to make me feel like this, I just wanted more than anything in the world to be able to go back and change things. I miss her more than words can say today. I just don't know where all this has come from. I feel like I'll never meet anyone as beautiful as her again (I'm 36) and that I've blown it big time :(

Love sucks.

Days like you're having today will come and go. 3 months is still new - please give yourself more time to get over this.

Sometimes it can feel like that, especially when you're having a down day. But know that it'll get better. You just need time. Let yourself feel sad for the day. Go out with friends later. The mood strikes at the worst times, but that's why you can post here ;) You'll get through this day.

Mr.B, Everyone gets those feelings especially so soon after a break up. As time goes on you will become more comfortable with the feelings, and better able to deal with them.

Sooner or later... you won't have trouble dealing with the feelings anymore and slowly will stop occuring.

It just takes time.

Luck to you,

I'm 22, was in a terrible relationship, and still feel like I've blown it big time. So I can 100% guarantee that those feelings are only a result of the grief, and not at all a reflection on reality.

You're doing all the right things, you'll be just fine.
