cazu Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Sometimes I have a really hard time "getting out" of my head and listening to my heart. Sometimes I'm not sure which one is speaking to me in terms of what I want out of life, or out of a relationship. How do you know when your heart is speaking to you?
norajane Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Your heart is the one that hopes. So when you find yourself hoping and wishing, that's your heart speaking. In the end, though, it doesn't matter. Both your head and heart need to be fairly well aligned and in agreement for any relationship to really feel right. So when you are not conflicted, you'll know.
whichwayisup Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 If you start writing your thoughts out, maybe it'll help you decipher which voice is speaking. Your heart or your mind.
JustinWolf Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 How can you listen to your heart? Isn't it just a heart... I can hear my head though. I know what I think. Emotions come from the mind, no?
Author cazu Posted July 28, 2008 Author Posted July 28, 2008 Hmm, good points. Writing stuff down really helps, actually, although it helps to get clarity rather than actually delineating between heart and mind. I'm probably thinking about it too much, ironically. Time is good, too...thanks for the responses!
Pedigree Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 How do you know when your heart is speaking to you? That part of you that has a hard time getting over the girl that just friendzoned you.
